You want a surgeon who is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to perform your surgery. It amazes me how many patients put their lives in the hands of Boarded "Cosmetic Surgeons" who do not have adequate training to deal with the complications that are expected with any procedure. The American Board of Medical Specialties does not recognize the "Board of Cosmetic Surgery" which is made up of medical specialists, surgeons and other non-plastic trained physicians who would not know how to handle the complications of the procedures they learned in a weekend course including breast implants, liposuction, fat grafting and even facial fillers that can lead to blindness and skin loss which they don't tell you about.

Please be careful and seek out a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, ABPS to be certain you are in good hands.
