How a neck lift is done

An incision is usually made under the chin and also behind both ears if excess skin is

removed to tighten up the neck. The loose bands of the platysma muscle are released

and brought together with sutures to flatten and smooth out the bands present. Liposuction of the neck is also performed if needed.
